Capital Stud to Sponsor the Topgear at Capital Stud EBF Maiden at the Curragh

Capital Stud is delighted to announce its continued sponsorship of the Topgear at Capital Stud EBF Maiden, the first two-year-old race of the Flat season at the Curragh Racecourse.

The race, which traditionally marks the beginning of the juvenile campaign, is widely regarded as one of the most exciting early-season contests, often showcasing some of the most promising young talent in training. Over the years, it has produced a number of high-class performers, underlining its importance within the Irish racing calendar.

Now in its fifth year of sponsorship, Capital Stud is proud to maintain its association with this key race and to support an event that highlights the future stars of the sport.

“We’re delighted that Capital Stud is once again sponsoring the Topgear at Capital Stud EBF Maiden, the first two-year-old race of the season at the Curragh. It’s always an exciting race to start the Flat season and has produced a number of very talented prospects over the years. This is now our fifth year sponsoring the race and we’re very grateful to the Curragh, Evan Arkwright and his team for their continued support. Hopefully Topgear will be well represented in the race in the seasons ahead.” Ger O’Neill.

Topgear, an unbeaten two-year-old and the highest-rated Timeform-rated son of Wootton Bassett to retire to stud this year, stands at Capital Stud and has already generated significant interest from breeders in Ireland and the UK. His association with the race further strengthens Capital Stud’s commitment to supporting the next generation of racehorses.
