Martinborough added another promising winner to his record as Alamo Aigles made an impressive debut in the 5YO Gelding Maiden at Ballygogue House.

Handled by Ellmarie Holden for owner Catherine Holden, Alamo Aigles travelled strongly throughout before asserting in decisive fashion, showing both professionalism and a willing attitude to get off the mark at the first time of asking.

Bred by E.A.R.L. Haras De Grandcamp, the gelding becomes another notable performer for Martinborough, whose stock continue to make their presence felt.

The performance was particularly encouraging, highlighting the key traits increasingly associated with Martinborough’s progeny, toughness, composure, and the ability to see out a race strongly.
